Home Improvement Star Zachery Ty Bryan Pleads Guilty In Girlfriend Choking Case

Zachery Ty Bryan, who became famous as a child actor on Home Improvement, is going to spend the next three years on probation after pleading guilt to menacing and fourth-degree assault.

The former child actor pled guilty on Feb 23rd in an Oregon courtroom. This stems from a terrible incident where Ty Bran choked his girlfriend. According to KEZI, there were six other charges, but they were dropped.

Other charges, that were dropped, included strangulation and coercion. On top of everything else, Zachery Ty Bryan was also told not to communicate with the victim.

He was arrested in Eugene, Oregon on October 16th, 2020 after a domestic dispute 911 call. Officers arrived to find Bryan outside as his girlfriend hid in a friend’s apartment.

According to initial reports, the Home Improvement star’s girlfriend told police that he pulled her by the hair and beat her before choking her. She was afraid he would suffocate her.
