Wesley Snipes Set To Make A Comeback In ‘Coming 2 America’

Wesley Snipes is a veteran actor in Hollywood, being most famous for his portrayal of a vampire slayer in the Blade film series.

Wesley Snipes is also set to make a comeback with a direct sequel to the hit 80s movie called ‘Coming To America.’ Aptly titled ‘Coming 2 America,’ the film will feature Wesley Snipes reprising his role as General Izzi. It will also see Eddie Murphy return as Akeem.

While being interviewed by Uproxx, Wesley Snipes talked about his upcoming ‘Coming 2 American’ film. Snipes expressed his delight in getting to work with Eddie Murphy again.

To get a chance to work with Eddie again, Arsenio, and to be on the set of a movie that was not only iconic, but had so much influence on my continued pursuit in the arts, was wonderful. Wonderful.

Snipes was then asked about how it felt filming for a sequel to the original movie, which released back in 1988.

I’m living out my fan fantasy, even though I’m part of the cast. That’s all I’m thinking about. And the opportunity to have so much fun with this ensemble of artists in this venue. Oh, yeah, that’s a good one.

‘Coming 2 American’ is set to released on Amazon Prime on March 5th of this year.
