Beavis and Butthead fans will finally get to see their favorite duo back on screen as an all-new movie based on the 1993 series is slated to release on Paramount+.
In an “announcement video”, the duo did their iconic “huh huh” laughs while Butt-Head smacked Beavis for not ‘seeing him’ and quintessentially pokes fun at the word “mount” in their new streaming home.
Chris McCarthy in an interview with Deadline said that he was excited to work with Mike Judge, the creator and voice-actor of both the teen delinquents.
“We are thrilled to be working with Mike Judge and the great team at 3 Arts again as we double down on adult Aanimation at Comedy Central,” said McCarthy. “Beavis and Butt-Head were a defining voice of a generation, and we can’t wait to watch as they navigate the treacherous waters of a world light-years from their own.”
We are still unaware of the release date or plot details for the animated film which is presumably next in line to the Beavis and Butt-Head series revival that’s still on for Comedy Central.
