Things are looking a little grim for the Seahawks as their quarterback Russell Wilson showed his desire to leave his team for others.
NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted that while Russell has not demanded to be traded to another team, he has provided a list of teams he’s willing to play for. The list includes the Cowboys, Saints, Raiders and Bears.
It should be noted that while Russell has a no-trade clause with Seahawks, and he’s willing to waive it in case he makes a landing inside one of these teams.
Josina Anderson, after failing to get a comment on the trade request by Russell, reported that the Cowboys still hold Dak Prescott as their quarterback, which probably isn’t too good a news for Russell.
Sportsbetting.com holds the position that Dallas still hold the fourth largest odds of acquiring Wilson as their quarterback. However, many hold the position that getting Wilson involved in with the Cowboys is only fun conceptually. Logistically speaking, the Cowboys have no need to overcomplicate things by bringing Wilson in, when they can just sign Prescott and let him handle things.
