Two of Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs, Gustov and Koji, were abducted as their dogwalker took them on a stroll in Hollywood. Chilling video of the event exists and you can find that here. Other dogwalkers are now on notice and they do not want to be next.
According to TMZ, dogwalker companies in the Hollywood area are increasing security. They are also changing up their walking schedules to avoid any repeat occurrences. They’re not stopping there, because dogwalkers are about to be strapped if they can get the permits.
Anna-Marie Arredondo, owner of Happy Heart Pet Care in WeHo, said that she’s researching concealed carry permits, in a hurry. Those are very hard to obtain in California, but she plans to pack heat if she’s allowed to. In the meantime, she will also brush up on her hand-to-hand combat.
She’s also looking into taking jiu-jitsu classes so she can protect herself and the pets. What’s more … all nighttime walks will only go down in well-lit, highly-trafficked areas. She says if it’s too dark or sketchy … she’ll haul the dogs in her car and drive to a safer spot.
Ryan Fischer, Lady Gaga’s dogwalker, was shot during the robbery. We have no update on his condition at this time. The case is currently being investigated by the LAPD Homicide and Robbery Division. Lady Gaga has also sent out a $500,000 “no questions asked” reward for the safe return of her beloved dogs.
Gaga has picked up her third French Bulldog, Miss Asia, who was able to escape during the robbery. We’re hoping for a happy outcome in this tragic case.
