Kodak Black has been on a roll since his return, as he already released a couple of singles this year, including “Every Balmain.” Now it seems the rapper wants to take his time with the next project.
From the looks of it, it seems Kodak is set to release his most commercially-appealing album soon. During a recent Instagram Live, the rapper called on Justin Bieber to do a collaboration with him.
A fan asked him to collaborate with Bieber and Kodak was definitely down for it. However, he needs Bieber to talk to him about it first.
“Man, tell that boy to holla at me. I got some shit for that boy, too. See Justin Bieber ain’t do no song with a real gangsta yet. He need that wave and shit,” Kodak Black said. “He did shit with Black people but he need to tap in with a real gangsta.”
It seems commercial success isn’t Kodak’s main objective this time around. Kodak talked about racial harmony being something he wants and hoped that his upcoming song can bring a bit more of that.
“I be seeing like, Seth Rogan and Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg hanging out and shit. I be likin’ that shit,” he said. “I like Black and White people be together. That shit lit, for real.”
We will have to see when Justin Bieber will decide to contact Kodak about a collaboration. Fans are certainly excited at this prospect.
