Dan Hardy Reportedly Fired From UFC

Update: Dan Hardy reacted reports that he was fired from UFC and claimed that they were not accurate. However, Dan did confirm that he’s no longer working with UFC but the part about the female employee is ‘irrelevant.’

Dan Hardy has been fired by the UFC. The 38-year-old former UFC welterweight contender also worked for the UFC and BT Sport as an analyst.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Dan Hardy has been let go by the UFC. Dave Meltzer said that Hardy had an argument with a female employee during one of the UFC’s recent shows on Yas Island. BT Sport and UFC both fined Hardy over the alleged incident.

Hardy has yet to confirm the report, but one recent tweet seemed to indicate that his integrity was questioned and he was insulted.

This is an interesting situation and it could mean a shake-up for BT Sport’s on-air team is coming soon. As of this writing the UFC has not confirmed this report either.
