Coming To America 2 just dropped on Amazon Prime, and fans are just getting used to Prince Akeem in a PG-13 movie. Eddie Murphy is already working on something in his head to carry on the story. On that note, you’re safe to keep reading because this article is spoiler free.

Live Kelly and Ryan recently had Eddie Murphy on their show. The SNL alum and world-famous comedian said that there is already an idea for Coming To America 3.

Don’t get too excited. Coming To America 3 will have to wait. It’s not going to happen any time soon, because Eddie Murphy said he will need to be around 75 to fit the story.

There’s an idea for a Coming to America 3 that I have, but it doesn’t happen for 16 years. I have to be 75 to do it, and not make me up like 75 but really be 75.

The 59-year-old Murphy said that he has an idea for 16 years in the future. We’re sure that fans will be ready for that whenever he wants to pull the trigger on a Coming To America trilogy. Then again, with the ability to age anyone with CGI and/or makeup it makes us wonder what his big holdup is.
