Grey’s Anatomy Might Be Ending With Its 17th Season

Grey’s Anatomy’s is currently one of the longest-running television shows out there, with a 17th season already in the works. For a long time now fans have been wondering whether the show will ever end.

Now it seems the show could actually end with the 17th season. While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Krista Vernoff revealed that she is planning the ending for the next season in such a way, that it could either be a series finale or a season finale.

 “I’m planning a season and a finale that could function as either a season finale or a series finale,” Vernoff said. “I’m planning for both contingencies and it’s hard and it’s not ideal. It’s not where I wish we were.”

Grey’s Anatomy first aired in 2005 and it became a smash hit with fans and critics alike for its realistic approach to medicine and also its drama between the cast of characters. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it is ABC’s top drama series even now.

We will have to see whether the 17th season of the show will truly be its end, or if it will meet the same fate as the Simpson and carry on mindlessly throughout the years.
