Joel Embiid is performing so well in this season that he’s already deemed the people’s MVP by the fans. The Sixers have been on a roll since the beginning of the Eastern Conference and continue to gain wins after wins.
However, things took a turn for the worse last night as Joel Embiid returned to the court with a serious bone injury. After Embiid made it back to the court room, he went underway an MRI for the assessment of the damage incurred by the injury.
According to ESPN spokesperson Adrian Wojnarowski, the injury would require Embiid to undergo recovery and take his time to heal. While the MRI seemed like the injury was going to turn out much worse, he would require only two to three weeks to recover and get back in the groove.
While the second half of the NBA session is just around the corners, every team will be doing their best to make it to the top. Without Embiid working his magic for the Sixers, they’d have to give their absolute best to stay in the game.
