Kudi Cudi Doesn’t Approve Of ‘Day N Nite’ Trend On TikTok

TikTok is a platform distinct from others, in that its lifecycle entirely depends upon trends. Musicians benefit from that a lot because anything from their lyrics to their music videos that piques the interest of the fans slowly starts to emerge as a challenge and before you know it, millions participate to make the movement even stronger.

Sometimes, it’s a problem as well because musicians have no control over how people take to their music. Such is the case with Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite” which has become popular among millions once again after being popularized on TikTok through a trend. Cudi took to Twitter his disapproval of the whole movement:

There are many ways in which the Day ‘N’ Nite format works, but most notably, it’s when someone mouths the words ‘Now look at this’ for the video to transition to something odd that is being showcased.

One fan tweeted that it isn’t really deep when you think about it, which prompted Cudi to rant and get it all out. Seems like he’s really serious on this one.
