Emma Thompson & Emma Stone Both Go Toe-To-Toe In The New Cruella Sneak Peek

Disney has been making financially profitable live-action remakes of all its animated classics. After Maleficent where the story of Snow White was changed drastically and Maleficent was shown in a positive/morally ambiguous light, Disney has set its mark on Cruella, a subverted remake of the classic 101 Dalmatian’s.

The movie resembles not much of its source, but instead tells the story of a young Cruella who wishes to be a fashion designer, but instead goes mad while encountering her rival Emma Thompson’s backing in the fashion world.

The trailer reveals how we’re likely to see the young Cruella’s journey in the 1970’s-esque world from an otherwise nice character to completely changing her hair color and becoming a criminal mastermind in order to get the upper hand on Emma Thompson’s character.

Cruella is arriving to the theatres on May 28th.
