Mom Deepfakes Nude Photos of Daughter’s Rivals & Tells Them To Kill Themselves

A mother can be known to be overprotective of her daughter, but it seems one mother decided to take it too far.

According to the NBC Philadelphia, a Bucks County mom is accused of making deepfake videos and photos of underage girls on her daughter’s cheer squad in order to harass them and get them off the team.

Raffaela Spone, 50, also made phone calls to the girls. She allegedly said “you should kill yourself” to one of the girls, in a continued attack on the girls that carried on for months last year as stated by the criminal complaint.

Police first came to know regarding the case when when the mother of one of the victims came forward and said her daughter had been receiving harassing texts and calls from a blocked number. The messages comprised of pictures from the girl’s social media accounts which had been altered to make it seem as if she was not wearing any clothes, drinking alcohol or vaping.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Spone also sent a doctored video to the owner of the girl’s cheerleading gym making it look as if she was vaping, which would have led to the girl being kicked off the team.

In December, two more moms came forward. They informed police that in August, someone had sent them photos of their daughters in bikinis, claiming they were drinking and smoking.

Thankfully, Police tracked down the numbers back to Spone’s Chalfont home and discovered she used her smartphone to sent the messages. It was not stated whether the daughter was aware of what her mother did.

Spone has been charged with multiple misdemeanor counts of cyber harassment of a child and related charges.
