Teen Mom 2 alum Nathan Griffith has landed himself in trouble as he is currently wanted by police after failing to appear for a court hearing in North Carolina.
According to TMZ, Griffith was scheduled to appear in front of a judge regarding his October 2019 arrest for Driving While Impaired. The judge issued an arrest warrant against him as he failed to show up for the hearing.
The Teen Mom 2 star had previously stated that he was not in his car when the fire department showed up. Griffith further claimed that his keys were locked inside his vehicle and he was going to visit his friends when police arrested him “five minutes” into his walk.
The fire department stated they were answering a call about a man who was sleeping in his car and notified police when they determined Griffith was medically fine.
While speaking to Radar Online at the time, Sergeant Mike Ring of the Cary Police Department said:
“He was found unconscious in the parking lot of grocery store Harris Teeter. His car was running. The fire department notified us when they realized it wasn’t medical, it was impairment. He was impaired. Empty alcohol containers were found in the car. No drugs were found at the scene.”
Nathan Griffith is the father of 6-year-old son Kaiser and ex-boyfriend of fellow Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans. The two were engaged for a short time before ending their relationship in 2015. We certainly hope Griffith realizes the error of his ways and simply faces what he is owed.
