While Drake is not alien to breaking records on Billboard charts, not even he saw this one coming. Being a natural record breaker who has obliterated the Billboard Hot 100s by his tracks from the Scary Hours 2 EP and will be dominating them for the foreseeable future, he’s once again done something unbelievable.
Drake has attained a rare achievement by being the only artist who has stayed on the Billboard Artist 100 chart. The chart was released in July 19 2014, exactly 350 weeks ago. He has stayed in the chart’s rankings for a whole of 350 weeks after he went on the top once again by his Scary Hours 2 EP release.
The way Billboard Artist 100 chart works is a little complicated. It uses the average metric of an artist’s performance on the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200 and Social 50 to find their rankings on the Artist 100 chart.
After Drake’s historic win on the Billboard Hot 100, nobody can question his success and dominance in the world of music. His upcoming album “Certified Lover Boy” has the fans etching with anticipation, so perhaps it’s high time that Drake should start dropping concrete updates.
