Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is well-known for being outspoken regarding the political situation in the US and he is quite active as a social activist.
Recently, a horrific shooting took place in Atlanta, Georgia which resulted in the death of 8 people including 6 Asian women. According to TMZ, LeBron James spoke about this horrific shooting on Tuesday.
James stated that his thoughts and prayers are with the “entire Asian community” after the shocking incident.
“My condolences goes out to the families of all the victims and the entire Asian community tonight on what transpired in Atlanta at the Aromatherapy Spa.”
James also blasted the shooting suspect, 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long and called him a “Coward a** young man!!”
According to police reports, Long opened fire at Young’s Asian Massage Parlor in Cherokee County, Georgia which resulted in 4 dead and 1 injured. He then went to the Gold Massage Spa where he shot dead 3 more people. He then made his way to the Aromatherapy Spa and killed one more person.
The shooter has since then been arrested by police and has been charged with murder. We also condemn needless violence and hate-filled attacks on innocent people and hope an incident such as this never happens again.
