Former Florida State University linebacker Dontavious Jackson seems to have gotten himself in trouble recently while on a flight.
Jackson took to Twitter on Wednesday night and gave a detailed account of what transpired on the flight where he was almost arrested. The former FSU star claimed that he was on a United flight when a “racist family” started to harass him.
Jackson then claimed that the family called him racial slurs including the N-word, but the “flight attendants just let it happen!” When police officers arrived to investigate the altercation in Miami, it was Jackson that almost got arrested over it.
Jackson claims the family “tried to play the victim card, telling the officers I punched/attacked them which was a lie.”
The former FSU star further stated that he was only let go due to witness’ statements and a video of the incident recorded by a person.
“The officer told me if it wasn’t for the witnesses I would’ve been taken to jail,” @united this isn’t right & I’m not staying quiet!”
Jackson played 43 games for the Seminoles from 2016 through 2019 and had a great run as a junior in 2018 when he tallied 75 total tackles. This was certainly a horrific incident and we hope Jackson never has to go through it ever again.
