Petr Yan Blasts Aljamain Sterling For Playing The Victim

At UFC 259, Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan put his title on the line against Aljamain Sterling in the third last fight of the event at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

The match ended in controversy after Yan hit Sterling with an illegal knee during the 4th round. This led to Sterling winning the title via disqualification, a first in UFC history.

Since then Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling have been at each other’s throats on social media. Sterling previously blasted Petr Yan for wanting a rematch against him after what happened. He also bragged about hitting Yan 20 times in their match.

Now it seems the heated rivalry between the two reached a new level. Yan took to Twitter and blasted Sterling for playing the victim card and said he was the softest fighter on the UFC roster. This was after Sterling called Yan a ‘d*** head* which was a response to Yan calling him a coward.

Dana White already made it clear that UFC is working on having a rematch between the two take place as soon as possible. We will have to see when the match will happen and hope it will not end in controversy this time around.
