Ace Ventura 3 Apparently In The Works At Amazon

Our favorite animal detective Ace Ventura is coming back!

Park Circus reports claim that a new Ace Ventura film is currently under production at Amazon. Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog writers are reportedly working on the film.

Representatives from the Morgan Creek studio said:

We’re pretty excited about our franchise developments with Exorcist and the Ace Ventura franchise – it’s noticeable from the 3 million fans chatting on the official Facebook page for Ace Ventura that audiences are clamoring for a 3rd installment… During COVID, audiences have been in love and are thrilled to have beloved characters brought back with new stories. Ace Ventura will see a new day at Amazon as a major motion-picture/theatrical with the Sonic the Hedgehog writers.

Although the details aren’t clear, it’s pretty certain that Ace Ventura 3 is happening. The burning question is of course whether or not Jim Carrey will reprise his role as the titular pet detective. However, we can certainly hope for the best.
