Khabib Nurmagomedov will forever be regarded as one of the best UFC fighters to have competed in the MMA world. UFC President Dana White confirmed last week that the Russian star has ended his UFC career for good. Since then many fans have been wondering what will be next in store for Nurmagomedov.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre was asked if Khabib would be a good fit in WWE. McIntyre stated that the Russian fighter has the talent to make it big in the company and added that he can even team up with Paul Heyman as his manager.
“[Khabib’s] so talented that I reckon he could make some noise, and if he can’t make the noise himself, we’ve got Paul Heyman. We’ve got a few talented people who can carry the load when it comes to talking.
MVP has done a heckuva job for [Bobby] Lashley. Maybe that’s another name to throw in the hat. But, [Khabib’s] such an amazing performer in the UFC, and if he can’t quite figure out that part, we’ll make it work.”
We’re about enhancing the positives and hiding the negatives. I think the fans would be very excited to see him.”
Anything is possible in the world of pro wrestling. A former MMA fighter making their way to WWE is certainly nothing new as the likes of Matt Riddle and Shayna Baszler have done quite well for themselves transitioning from MMA to WWE.
