Khloe Kardashian was recently in the news for something she didn’t want as Kardashian’s team scrambled to take down a private photo of her taking in the sun while wearing a bikini by a pool. Now Kardashian finally opened up about the reason for the removal.
Khloé Kardashian took to Instagram and uploaded a video and talked about body image in light of the recent private photo fiasco. Kardashian explained why she wanted the photo to be taken down.
“Hey guys, this is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered. “The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point — and then shares it to the world — you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared — regardless of who you are.”
Team Kardashian threatened legal action to remove the photo of her in a bikini without the heavy editing and airbrushing that are usually prevalent her pictures. She ended it by sending a wholesome message to her followers.
“For those else who feel the constant pressure of not ever feeling perfect enough, I want you to know I see you and I understand,
“Every day, I am told by my family and friends who love me that I am beautiful, but I know that it needs to be believed from within. Just do you and make sure your heart is happy.”
We certainly understand where Kardashian is coming from and she definitely has the right to have photos taken down that were taken without her consent.
