Fame can come with some attention you never asked for. Stalkers are a risk and it seems that we are hearing more stories about obsessed fans stepping over the line. Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde are forced to get a protection order from a man who apparently won’t leave them alone.
Sudeikis and Wilde were forced to get this order from a man who imagines that he is Wilde’s boyfriend.
Olivia’s attorney, Shawn Holley, took this to court on Monday and got a temporary restraining order to protect their family. The stalker in question is named Eric Nathanial Fuhs and he’s been harassing them for months.
According to TMZ, court documents claim that Olivia Wilde has security footage of Fuhs showing up to their home on multiple occasions. He also left notes, one of which said: “how she [Olivia] was unhappy in her relationship, and how she wanted to start a new relationship with me.”
Olivia says the obsessed fan initially barged in on a private zoom call she was on in October and harassed her. He got bold since then and started showing up at her home.
This is a scary situation and we can only hope that things turn out for the best without anyone involved getting hurt.
