UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou has cemented himself as one of the best fighters in the history of the UFC. Ngannou had previously made it clear that he wants to face off against Tyson Fury in a boxing match.
Heavyweight professional boxer Tyson Fury is known to take shots at fighters competing in combat sports apart from boxing and that is exactly what he did recently. Fury recently took to Twitter and stated that after he beats Anthony Joshua, Fury will ‘roast’ Francis Ngannou as well.
.@MikeTyson after I smash @anthonyjoshua I’ll roast that guy also.
@francis_ngannou easy work.
Francis Ngannou saw Fury calling him out and decided to reply to him as he referenced Fury’s September 2019 fight against Otto Wallin. Fury was close to losing the match due to a cut above his eye but managed to win via unanimous decision.
“If this guy did this to you, what do you think I would do?”
Ngannou is currently expected to defend his title against Jon Jones in an upcoming fight. On the other hand, Fury will face Anthony Joshua later this year. We will have to see if Ngannou and Fury face each other in the future.
