The Weeknd remains one of the most popular singers in the modern music industry and that is largely due to the themes shown in his albums, notably his ‘After Hours’ album.
Now it seems the Canadian singer is ready to move on from the era of ‘After Hours’ if his latest social media post is anything to go by. It seems he might be hanging up his red-and-black suit that the singer has been wearing for the past year.
The Weeknd took to Instagram and uploaded a photo of his framed sunglasses, red blazer, black shirt, tie and glove and they were shown under his Songwriter of the Year plaque from the 2021 ACAP Pop Music Awards.
This might have just been a sign that he is ready to move on from the iconic look. One fan said, ”I’m so emotionally attached to that suit lmao omg.”
Should the singer officially retire his iconic ‘After Hours’ persona, then we will have to see what persona The Weeknd will do next as fans are eagerly waiting for any update from the singer.
