Amber Heard Hints At Aquaman 2 Return In Latest Photo

The ongoing legal battle between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard continues to get messier by the moment. After Johnny Depp lost an appeal in the domestic violence lawsuit, Amber Heard made sure to celebrate that fact while taking a shot at Depp.

A couple of months ago, it was reported that Amber Heard was fired from her role as Mera in Aquaman 2, which was something fans celebrated. However, it seems that isn’t the case at all.

Amber Heard recently took to Instagram and uploaded a throwback photo of herself to the first film’s production. In the photo, Heard could be seen reading a book while on set. She teased her return as Mera in Aquaman 2 by writing the caption below;

“Before Aquaman took the last pages out of this book. #gettingakindleforaquaman2.”

With Aquaman 2 already in production, it is slated to release in December of 2022. It is very likely that many people will be ticked off seeing Amber Heard in the film and might boycott it entirely.
