Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League effectively fixed all the wrongs that was prevalent in the 2017 theatrical version of the film, directed by Joss Whedon. Fans especially loved Ray Fisher’s portrayal of Cyborg in Snyder’s version, dubbing him as the heart of the film.
Unfortunately, due to Ray Fisher being vocal about his treatment at the hands of both Joss Whedon and Warner Bros, he was removed from the upcoming Flash solo film entirely.
While speaking at Justice Con, Fisher was asked what exactly it would take for him to play the Cyborg character again. Fisher revealed that he would need an apology from Warner Bros.
“I think where we can start is an acknowledgement, an apology, of what is clearly publicly known to be an issue… I think that’s where the accountability begins.”
Ray Fisher also recently stated that he is hopeful about appearing in the upcoming Flash solo film. It seems that will happen only if Warner Bros makes a public apology. We will have to see whether that happens or not.
