The pandemic has been extremely bad for McDonald’s. With a huge slump in sales last year, the fast-food giant recruited Travis Scott to launch a Travis-themed meal pack, and it turned out to be a great success. While McDonald’s got their sales back, Travis walked away from the deal with $20 million in his hands.
Later, McDonald’s applied the same strategy by recruiting J Balvin, and now they’ve recruited a group that is sure to get them the sales and traction they’re looking for. BTS, the world-famous Korean act is teaming up with McDonald’s for their very own BTS Meal.
McDonald’s revealed that the BTS Meal will be available in more than 50 countries. While it’ll be available in all McDonald’s restaurants from May 26th, it’ll take a month or so to be available at the rest of the McDonald’s stops in the rest of the world.
BTS took to Twitter to sing the legendary jingle of McDonald’s “ba da ba ba ba”. As per a report by CNN, McDonald’s BTS Meal is going to include 10 chicken McNuggets, a medium fry, Coca Cola, along with two new sauces which are a new rendition of McDonald’s South Korean sauce recipes.
