2016’s Suicide Squad film was written and directed by David Ayer. Despite being a Box Office success, grossing over $740 million at the worldwide box office. the film was panned by both fans and critics.
This ultimately led to James Gunn taking charge of The Suicide Squad which is said to be a ”soft reboot” of the 2016 film. The film stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, John Cena as Peacemaker and more.
It seems James Gunn had some good news to share regarding the upcoming film. Gunn took to Twitter and announced that the post-production of The Suicide Squad is already completely finished, including VFX,
Gunn also added that he always planned to have the film finished so early. Gunn revealed that was due to not requiring a single shot of pickups or reshoots.
