Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez’s Breakup Boiled Down To Trust Issues

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez made headlines last month after multiple reports suggested that the two have called off their engagement and have ended their relationship. The couple would deny the reports of them breaking up.

However, the two would officially announce their break up last week as it shocked fans all over the world. According to a report by People, sources close to Lopez have stated that it was Lopez who broke up with Rodriguez.

“She insisted on it. There are are too many issues that are unresolved.”

It was further stated by the source that  Lopez could no longer fully “trust” Rodriguez, who flew to visit her in the Dominican Republic days after they publicly working through their differences.

“She has been pretty miserable and didn’t think it was in her best interests to stay with Alex.”

Another source close to the two added that despite the relationship looking good from the outside, the couple were said to have been struggling quite a bit as the COVID-19 lockdown further worsened things.

“They both liked spending more time together as a family, but it was difficult to keep that special spark when they saw each other every day.

Another point was that even if Rodriguez did not cheat, Lopez didn’t want to be afraid of the possibility.

“She won’t tolerate the fear of it in the air between them.”

We will have to see what is next in store for Lopez and Rodriguez now that that they are no longer together as Lopez is certainly busy focusing on her children and her work on upcoming comedy Shotgun Wedding.
