YouTube personality Logan Paul was supposed to fight legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather, in February of his year but the match had to be postponed due to contract negotiation issues. As reported earlier, it seems the fight could be taking place after all.
Now more details regarding the potential boxing match have been revealed. The match will be an exhibition match and Mayweather can’t weigh more than 160 pounds while Logan Paul can’t weigh more than 190 pounds. It will be a middleweight vs a cruiserweight in terms of a boxing match.
Mike Coppinger took to Twitter and said that according to sources, the upcoming match between the two will be carried by Showtime PPV and is planned for June 5.
“Sources: Floyd Mayweather-Logan Paul exhibition will be carried by Showtime PPV and is planned for June 5. Mayweather can’t weigh more than 160 pounds; Paul 190. Will compete with Teofimo Lopez-George Kambosos undisputed lightweight title tilt on Triller.”
While the location of the match was not mentioned, Mayweather recently took to Instagram and uploaded a post where he gave five candidates to host his fight against Paul. The choices listed were Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, and Atlanta.
