Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James recently came under fire for a problematic tweet that he made in light of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant being shot dead by police.
James had posted a photo of the Ohio police officer who shot the teenager and tweeted he was next, in a controversial tweet. James would clarify his deleted-tweet in two more tweets.
Now it seems out of all people to call him out on his recent remarks, former POTUS Donald Trump took to Twitter and blasted James. In his statement addressed to James, Trump said that his racist rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning.
“LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest television RATINGS, by far, in the long and distinguished history of the league. His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our country together!

It is certainly ironic that Donald Trump called out James for being racist despite his own problematic tweets and speeches over the years. We will have to see if the officer in question will face repercussions for what he did.
