Justin Bieber Thought It Was A Good Idea to Sing “Lonely” to Prison Inmates

Justin Bieber is one of the most popular pop singers in the music industry right now. Bieber is a man of many things, but being able to read the room is certainly not one of them.

According to a report by TMZ, the Canadian pop sensation decided to pay a visit to the California State Prison in Los Angeles County last month. His song of choice was a very interesting one to say the least as he decided to sing the highly depressing ‘Lonely’ song to the prison inmates.

Clearly, the inmates wanted to be reminded of the fact that they were incredibly lonely in prison. It seems despite the very depressing lyrics, the prison inmates were actually enjoying the performance.

It was also reported that Bieber sang three more songs but it wasn’t known which songs he selected. Bieber’s reason for the visit was to support the prison’s faith-based programs.

It was further stated that the singer’s small performance was emotional, empathetic and had him on the verge of tears. It was a hit with the inmates and was followed by a sermon.
