Snoop Dogg and WWE have worked together on multiple occasions. They aren’t very happy with him right now after appearing for the competition.
AEW hosted Snoop Dogg for a match on their TNT Dynamite show, and WWE didn’t really appreciate that at all. Snoop told Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning all about it.
“They felt some kinda way too. Let me tell you why, too. Snoop Dogg ain’t a wrestler. He’s bigger than that and you gotta understand that.”
Snoop explained that he was hosting the Go Big Show and his AEW appearance was a part of that cross-promotion. WWE might not have liked that, but his partnership with TBS and TNT was something that happened and Snoop didn’t need WWE’s permission to promote the Go Big Show.
Snoop then said that “I get word from them [WWE] that said ‘hey you f*cking with [AEW], when we’re gonna have to push pause for a minute.” Then Snoop said that WWE called him about two weeks later asking for his help with a video game commercial. He told him that his price just doubled, and he meant it.
It just goes to show that WWE might get petty, but Snoop Dogg isn’t playing those games.
