Kodak Black is never one to shy away from the spotlight, even if he’s receiving nothing but negative attention. One recent tweet included an emoji that was not taken in the way he intended at all.
Black tweeted out to address a controversy that he just wanted to be done with. This pertained to the sexual assault case that he just accepted a plea deal for. The tweet which followed included a huge reminder that you should always check the race of your emojis before hitting the “send” button.
5 yrs later … both us just wanted to get this shit over wit AND I ain’t have to come off no money [shrugging emoji]
That shrugging emoji actually brought the most attention to this tweet, because Kodak Black used a Caucasian emoji. Fans immediately called the rapper out for using that emoji, and some of them had their own theories about why he did it.
“Yo lawyer tweeting this lmao why u using the white emoji,” one fan tweeted out. Others seemed to agree with that idea. Even more fans jumped on his timeline just to drag Kodak Black for using a white emoji.
As of this writing, Kodak Black has not responded to this new emoji controversy. He did send out a very interesting tweet about rape victims after accepting a plea deal in his own sexual assault case.
