Jon Jones is one of the most popular fighters in the history of the UFC. Last month, Jones reacted to the upcoming title fight between him and Francis Ngannou after Ngannou won the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 260.
Jones previously revealed that he felt undervalued and simply wanted to be paid better. According to UFC President Dana White, Jon Jones demanded $30 million, a claim which Jon Jones vehemently denied.
Ngannou had made it clear he is looking forward to facing off against Jon Jones and now it seems Jones decided to up the ante. Jones recently took to Twitter and called out Ngannou to ‘motivate him more’ as he boasted about unlocking ‘a different level’ of his athleticism as Jones uploaded a video of himself running at a high speed on a treadmill.
Ran through the light heavyweight division on talent, about to run through the heavyweight division like dominoes off pure hard work
Motivate me more @francis_ngannou
“The greatest title in the world is coming back to the greatest country in the world.”
“If you think you are going to run through America, you are wrong.”
Francis Ngannou has yet to respond to Jones calling him out. Ngannou had previously stated that he will be taking care of Jon Jones first and then go after Tyson Fury. We will have to see who will come out on top in the megafight between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou.
