Nate Diaz remains one of the most legitimate fighters to have ever stepped foot inside the Octagon. Diaz last competed against Jorge Masvidal for the “BMF” title at UFC 244 back in November 2019. He lost the match via doctor’s stoppage.
Nate Diaz was scheduled to make his UFC return at UFC 262 on May 15 against Leon Edwards. That match will now not be taking place on that card.
According to a report from Yahoo! Sports, Nate Diaz suffered a minor injury and now his upcoming fight between him and Edwards has been postponed to UFC 263 on June 12. That fight will remain a five round affair and will take place at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz.
UFC has yet to make an official announcement regarding the change. We will have to see who will win the fight at UFC 263.
