Stranger Things took the world by storm when it released in 2016. The series was a true love letter to the 80s and also featured a colorful cast of characters along with a healthy dose of sci-fi and mystery.
It’s been nearly two years since the third season ended and fans had been eagerly waiting for any footage related to the upcoming fourth season. The wait is finally over as a teaser for season 4 dropped recently.
The teaser featured the return of the sinister Dr. Brenner, who is still alive. In the teaser, any children who looked similar to Eleven when she was younger were being kept in a room. When Brenner goes into the room, he says, “Good morning, children.” They respond by calling him “papa.”
The teaser ends with Dr. Brenner asking Eleven, “Eleven, are you listening.” She suddenly opens her eyes in shock and it ends right there.
The production for season 4 was brought to a halt in March of last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After months of delays, filming resumed in late 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia. The fourth season is slated to release in 2022 and we will have to wait and see how it will turn out to be.
