Chris Rock Claims He Now Has to Beg The Rock for Acting Jobs

Many fans are well aware of the deep friendship that Chris Rock and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson share. Johnson has never spared any opportunity to roast Chris Rock and the opposite has happened as well.

In the past, Chris Rock used to turn down film roles with The Rock as “the wackest s–t I’ve ever heard,” but now it seems he is begging The Rock for roles. While speaking to Esquire magazine, Chris Rock explained how the situation between the two changed as The Rock became the biggest star in Hollywood.

“Here’s the sad thing: Years ago when I was famous and The Rock wasn’t, and they would say ‘Hey, you wanna do a movie with The Rock?’ I’m like ‘Are you f–king crazy? That’s the wackest s–t I’ve ever heard.

Now the guy’s like the biggest action star in the world and I’m like ‘Hey, can I get two lines? Hey, Mr. Johnson, maybe I can be in ‘Fast and Furious.’ I can have a wrench! I don’t even need a car. Maybe I change tires …’ I’m begging the f–king Rock for a job.”
