We are very sad to learn about the passing of Colt Brennan. He was only 37-years-old.

Brennan was a standout at the University of Hawaii and he led the team to new heights while he was their quarterback. He later because a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2007,

Hawaii News Now reports that it is believed that he was at a rehabilitation facility in California at the time of his passing. No details about his exact cause of death have been released at this time.

He was chosen in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft by Washington, but then suffered injuries that stopped his pro football career. He also suffered a serious car accident in 2010.

Brennan was also the 10th quarterback selected in the draft that year. He also played for the Raiders before going to the CFL and the Arena Football League.
