Braun Strowman is set to battle for the WWE Title tonight at WrestleMania Backlash. He is also getting into bodybuilding competitions. The Monster Among Men sculpted his body from his strongman days, and he’s not done yet.
On that note, click here for a very interesting note about a loophole in WWE’s Wellness Policy.
Strowman recently spoke to TMZ Sports where he unloaded about how he still deals with perceived flaws in his own appearance. He dropped a ton of weight and is a ripped specimen, but he still deals with body dysmorphia on a daily basis.
“I used to struggle and I still do struggle with body dysmorphia.”
“I struggled with bullying growing up because I was a chubby little kid and then I grew to this gigantic mongoloid of a human being that I am and I’m still judged for it because people look at me and go, ‘Oh, this big meathead.'”
Braun Strowman already won the Universal Title, a reign that was improvised when Roman Reigns couldn’t compete at WrestleMania 36. Strowman still racked up a big win against Goldberg, and that’s nothing to look down on at all.
No matter how hard he works, Strowman still deals with confidence issues just like everyone else. It just goes to show that even monsters have insecurities.
