Elon Musk might be in some hot water if he doesn’t deliver a Tesla to a top-ranked UFC fighter’s wife soon. He was called out in a big way on the live microphone during UFC 262.
Beneil Dariush earned a big win during his co-main event fight against Tony Ferguson. He won by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27), but he then proceeded to call out Elon Musk.
Dariush got on the microphone during his post-fight interview in the Octagon with Joe Rogan and he called out Elon Musk. Apparently, the UFC fighter’s wife ordered a car from Musk’s company six months ago that has yet to arrive. The couple is expecting a child soon, so they really need that car right about now.
“I want to call somebody out. Joe, I want to call out your buddy. Elon! Elon Musk! Where’s my wife’s car, bro? I’ve been waiting six months. I’m having a baby, I need a good car. I’ve got to protect my daughter, let’s go Elon. Get me my car!”
Elon Musk has not responded to this accusation yet. Tesla has been scrutinized on many occasions in recent memory, even charging some customers double the price for a car. They have also been known to be a bit slow on delivering their orders. Six months is a really long time to wait on anything, especially a car.
