LeBron James Gives Fans Hope of LA Lakers Pulling Through In NBA Playoffs

Even though the Lakers didn’t have the best ending to this season since many key players faced injuries, LeBron James thinks that the future holds only strong performances for the team.

Ahead of the playoffs, James predicts that all of NBA should anticipate great performances from the team, as the ending to the season for them was very strong. As the team raised their championship banner, James took to Instagram to pump some enthusiasm into the fans.

James said that while the 17th championship “was revealed in Staples,” it’s almost time to get back in the court and defend it again. The post received more than 1.1 million likes on Instagram, and garnered praise from many fans.

While one of the NBA’s GOATs is singing songs of praises around Lakers, odds from Basketball Reference’s projections give them only 2.2% odds of even reaching the finals, and the odds for them reaching the top and winning are only a miniscule  .7%. FiveThirtyEight’s projections for the team are rather optimistic, giving the Lakers a strong 16% chance of reaching the finals and only 9% chance of them walking away as the victors.

Whether the Lakers win in the upcoming playoffs or not, one thing is for certain that they’re ready to give an electrifying performance. LeBron may have been too injured to do anything for the team, but he’s going to be in top shape when the next match happens.
