Celebrity boxing matches are now more popular than ever before, with notable matches such as Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather coming to mind. Rapper Aaron Carter is also set to be in such a match, as he looks to face Lamar Odom.
Aaron Carter has been training very hard for his upcoming fight against Odom and his past few sparring sessions have shown mixed results. While his training video back in March didn’t make him look so good, Carter looked far better in the video he released last month.
According to TMZ Sports, now it seems Aaron Carter’s most recent sparring session has essentially made it apparent that he won’t be able to win against Odom. It was stated that on May 4, Carter was in a Santa Monica gym preparing for his upcoming fight.
Carter was said to have been sparring with Ian Feiner, with whom Carter had sparred with many times in the past. During the latest session, Carter was hit with a sudden right hook to the gut. Carter immediately fell apart in pain and crumpled to his knees.
Feiner stated that Carter was “fine overall, but it is evident that Carter’s chances in his fight against Lamar Odom don’t look good at all. On the other hand, Lamar Odom’s recent training video showed him getting into the groove and he looked far better in comparison.
We will have to see what will transpire when the two square off against each other on June 11 in an exhibition match at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City.
