Conor McGregor is undoubtedly one of the most popular MMA fighters in the history of the sport and is a huge draw for the UFC, garnering insane pay-per-view buys for every UFC event he headlines. On top of that he is a very smart businessman who knows how to spend his money wisely.

The Notorious One recently topped the list of Forbes’ Top 10 Highest Paid Athletes of 2021 as he earned a total of $180 million over the last 12 months. Now it seems McGregor is interesting in making a very interesting purchase after being crowned #1.

Conor McGregor took to Instagram and uploaded a fanart of himself along with the other four athletes who made up the Top 5 of the Richest Athletes list. In the fan art, Conor McGregor could be seen celebrating with his Proper 12 Irish Whiskey, while LeBron James was celebrating with a lion cub in his arms.

The Notorious One then sent an amusing message to LeBron James, as he asked James how much James would sell the lion cub to him for, signifying McGregor’s desire to purchase the lion cub for himself.

The other notable athletes in the fan art include football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and also NFL player Dak Prescott. While McGregor is certainly having a lot of fun with all the money he made, McGregor still has to focus for his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 11th in their third fight together. Both of them currently have a win over the other, so we will have to see who will become the definite winner in the high profile rivalry.
