As if Disney didn’t give enough reasons to subscribe to their streaming service, now another is coming our way. Hocus Pocus 2 has been confirmed and all three Sanderson Sisters will return.
Bette Midler, Winifred ‘Winnie’ Sanderson herself, tweeted out to confirm the news. Hocus Pocus 2 is coming to Disney+ in Fall of 2022. No specific date was revealed, but we can probably expect it around Halloween.
An announcement about Hocus Pocus 2 was anticipated because it was known that Disney was working on a sequel. No cast announcement was made official until today.

The sequel to the 1993 cult classic will see Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy all return to reprise their previous roles. A sequel novel was penned which did carry on with the Sanderson Sisters following the first movie. It is not known which direction Disney is going to go with the storyline in this next installment.
Nostalgia is paying off big for Disney, and we can only imagine the paydays all three leads are receiving to finally put those Sanderson Sisters robes back on. Now that the original cast has been confirmed longtime fans of the cult classic can breathe a small sigh of relief.
