Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the all-time greats in the world of professional basketball. James suffered a very nasty injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March and despite making a return, James simply hasn’t been the same since the injury.
On Monday, photos of LeBron James partying with rapper Drake surfaced and he was heavily criticized for the fact, as the Lakers were set to compete in the play-in game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
LeBron James’ performance ultimately shone during the game as the Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors 103 – 100 in what was a very competitive match. However, in the fourth quarter Draymond Green fouled LeBron James when he was driving to the rim. James crashed to the ground very hard and was grabbing his face in pain.
While many people were worried about his condition, it seems Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum felt James was overacting and called him out on it on Twitter.
James later on revealed that Green had poked him in the eye and that certainly would have been painful. Even if NBA players tend to exaggerate their injuries, James’ seemed far more genuine.
