Elon Musk has a lot of influence. Just one tweet from the Tesla founder can cause a huge stir in multiple markets. That might mean he needs to pick his friends wisely as well. Soulja Boy wants an audition.

While talking to New Hip Hop, Soulja Boy said he loves Elon Musk. He praised Dogecoin for “going to the moon,” and he supports everything that Musk does. Then then he wondered why Musk isn’t on the phone with him since he’s chatting with Kanye.

The way Soulja Boy sees it, his line of “video game consoles” is enough to prove that he’s a mogul worth of rubbing elbows with Ye and Elon.

“I love Elon Musk. I’m right there with them. Dogecoin going to the moon. Let’s go. What we waiting on. Get it to a dollar, today. Now, love Elon, support everything that he does. Yes. Genius. Yes. Don’t play with Elon Musk, at all.

“No, I ain’t talked to Elon Musk. Why hasn’t Soulja Boy talked to Elon Musk? He talked to Kanye, right? Elon Musk get on the phone with Soulja Boy, damn! I got ideas and shit, too! I like Tesla too, n****! What the fuck? I got my own video game console. Put that shit in a Tesla! Don’t you got video games in a Tesla? Who gon’ establish these connections for me?! That’s why I signed to Virgin Music! Virgin, help me!”

We’ll have to see if this sparks a bromance between Elon Musk and Soulja Boy on par with Drake and Michael B. Jordan. The fact that the cryptocurrency market is tanking ever since Elon Musk’s SNL appearance might be a big clue that he has matters to worry about other than hanging out with Soulja Boy.

Would you like to be Soulja Boy’s friend? Sound off in the comments!
