Lady Gaga Shares Chilling New Details from Assault that Lead to Pregnancy

Lady Gaga is undoubtedly one of the most popular singers in the music industry right now and also has acting gigs and has cemented herself in the pop culture of the world. However, she has had to struggle a lot throughout her career.

While speaking to The Me You Can’t See, Lady Gaga revealed a traumatic experience of sexual assault that left her impregnated when she was only 19 years old. Gaga stated that she just started out in the business at 19 years of age and a producer sexually assaulted her.

“I was 19 years old, and I was working in the business, and a producer said to me, ‘Take your clothes off,’”I said no. And I left, and they told me they were going to burn all of my music. And they didn’t stop. They didn’t stop asking me, and I just froze and I—I don’t even remember.’

Lady Gaga then revealed that she felt the pain of the sexual assault years later, as she was hospitalized due to severe pain and ultimately the entire experience made her numb and she had a total psychotic break.

“First I felt full-on pain, then I went numb. First I felt full-on pain, then I went numb. And then I was sick for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks after, and I realized that it was the same pain that I felt when the person who raped me dropped me off pregnant on a corner. At my parents’ house because I was vomiting and sick. Because I’d been being abused. I was locked away in a studio for months.

I had a total psychotic break, and for a couple years, I was not the same girl. The way that I feel when I feel pain was how I felt after I was raped. I’ve had so many MRIs and scans where they don’t find nothing. But your body remembers.”

This was certainly a very heartbreaking and traumatic experience that Lady Gaga suffered and we cannot imagine just how horrible she must have failed throughout her ordeal. However, she never let it ruin her and now she remains one of the best pop stars in the world and continues to shine bright.
