Bad Bunny teamed up with Damian Priest and squared off against The Miz & John Morrison in a tag team match on Night One of WrestleMania 37. Bad Bunny’s performance far exceeded anyone’s expectations as he truly put on a show worthy of WrestleMania.
Not only did Bad Bunny get a lot of praise for his work, he also truly appreciated the pro wrestling world after working so hard to compete at the event.
While speaking on HBO’s The Shop: Uninterrupted, Bad Bunny talked about his appreciation for pro wrestling. Bunny revealed that he trained three months nonstop for his match.
“It took three months. I moved to Orlando for three months, to train every single day. I didn’t record any songs, I didn’t do anything about music.”
Bad Bunny then said that pro wrestling is definitely real and he only realized that after training for it himself. Bunny added that he can’t imagine how The Undertaker and Triple H withstood so much pain for 20-30 years.
“It’s 100% real. It’s insane. When I was learning the first day and they were teaching me how to fall, I said ‘How can these people do this for 20-30 years…receiving that pain?’”
It is not known if Bad Bunny and Damian Priest will ever partner up again whenever the rapper makes his return to the company. Perhaps he will come back once his El Ultimo tour ends in 2022.
