For a long time, fans have been eagerly waiting for YouTube personality Logan Paul to duke it out with Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. After it was delayed earlier in the year, the match was finally confirmed by Logan Paul.
The hype surrounding the megafight continues to increase every day and the rivalry between the two has further intensified and reached a boiling point. Both Mayweather and Paul have called each other out on several occasions as the fight draws near.
Mayweather was recently featured in a promotional video posted by Fanmio, who is the official digital streaming partner of the upcoming fight. In it, Mayweather can be seen working hard in preparation for the fight and the video also featured voice-over narration by Mayweather himself. Mayweather roasted Logan Paul by stating that he didn’t even know who Paul was.
“I just think of myself as Floyd Mayweather. A person who had a dream – having fun and entertaining the world. This is what I do. I don’t do things for likes or views. One thing I really want people to know, and one thing I really know, is this: I can really fight… I didn’t even know who Logan Paul was. I didn’t know if he had one fight or two fights… He can come out and fight as hard as he wants to fight. The results will always be the same.
You’re gonna find out the difference between a real boxer and a YouTube boxer. You’re gonna find out the difference. Don’t worry. Tell that boy [Logan Paul] to go to the kitchen, look in the drawer, pick the sharpest knife, and cut the bullsh*t out… You can mark my words on this. I can guarantee you this. The results will always be the same.”
Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather is set to take place on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. We will have to see if Mayweather will dominate the fight or if Paul will somehow come up with the upset victory.
